Hello
I am enjoying a Dark Island right now, which is one of the most amazing beverages I have experienced. Thank you Jungle Jims.

Hello
My friend Becky and I went around Fountain Square taking pictures last week sometime. I decided not to upload any of the pictures except for this one. I don't know what it is... maybe the color and contrast... but I kind of like this picture.

Hello
Today I grabbed the new camera and headed off to downtown to take some shots before the sun was completely gone. I got there a little too late, but I still got some ok shots. This is my favorite from today, it was taken at the canal. It's like a geometry dreamland.

An another, because I am excited )

So I stumbled upon the Gladius Style site. Upon which I learned that there are 4 different colors. The bike looks really nice!

Not an ascot

  • Oct. 2nd, 2008 at 7:28 PM
Hello
So I don't think I have posted a picture of me with locs yet. This picture is not the best, my hair looks like it's really close to my head. That's because I just saw the loctician yesterday. It's always tight the first couple of days. Anyway.

This is me today.

The first co-worker to see me, "Is that an ascot?".

It's not an ascot, it's just an extremely large knotted necktie. All day 4 or so of the manager's and my district manager was trying to get me to teach them how to tie like me. This in the middle of our manager's meeting. I kept telling them to leave me alone. I hate those meetings and I just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.

Apple's iTunes Genius

GRR
Have you tried the Genius feature in iTunes 8? It pretty much rocks my socks straight off. I selected Modest Mouse' "Ocean Breathes Salty" to create a playlist around, here are the results....

TITLES ARTISTS
Ocean Breathes Salty Modest Mouse
The Sound of Settling Death Cab for Cutie
Last Nite The Strokes
Say It Ain't So Weezer
1979 Smashing Pumpkins
The Freshman The Verve Pipe
Love Will Come Through Travis
My Moon My Man Feist
Send Me On My Way Rusted Root
Taylor Jack Johnson
One Headlight The Wallflowers
Save Tonight Eagle Eye Cherry
Breathe Me Sia
Peaches The Presidents of The United States Of America
Back In Your Head Tegan & Sara
New Slang The Shins
The View Modest Mouse
The Skin of My Yellow Country Teeth Clap You Hands Say Yeah
Steal My Kisses Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals
E-Pro Beck
Amber 311
The Underdog Spoon
Otherside Red Hot Chili Peppers
Bullet And A Target Citizen Cope
Crooked Teeth Death Cab For Cutie

It takes me back to high school. Which is strange because the majority of these songs weren't even out in the 20's when I was in high school. I was rocking out to Smashing Pumpkins and The Wallflowers, in high school. "The Freshman," "Save Tonight," and "Peaches" I was listening too... but not too much more stuff from those groups. The majority of the rest of the songs have a classic kind of feel though.
